    Jonathan Camus-Smith MRICS

    RICS Registered Valuer, Director

    Jonathan formed Navah Consulting in 2018 having worked in a medium-sized private practice since graduating from university. He qualified as a Chartered Building Surveyor in 2017 and holds additional RICS Registered Valuer status.

    Jonathan is involved with all aspects of the business at Navah Consulting. Key skills include residential surveying, valuations, contract administration and professional services. He regularly assists clients with pre and post-purchase advice, including insurance-related matters such as defect diagnosis, damage investigations and overseeing remedial works following building failures.

    From 2015 to 2017, Jonathan was Chairman of RICS Essex Matrics, the RICS network for early-career professionals, developing leadership and organisational skills now applied at Navah Consulting.

    Jon loves cheese and wine.

    Aaron Freeman MRICS

    Consultant Surveyor

    Aaron brings a wealth of experience to Navah Consulting having qualified as a Chartered Building Surveyor in 2011.

    Aaron has extensive experience in contract administration, condition surveys, schedules of condition, defect inspections, due diligence reports, planned maintenance surveys, and landlord and tenant advice. He also has strong knowledge of leasehold properties, including the Section 20 (S20) consultation process under the Landlord and Tenant Act.

    Aaron has a solid foundation in undertaking RICS Home Survey Level 2 and Level 3 inspections with a particular interest in listed buildings and non-standard construction properties.

    Aaron is an absolute blinder on the guitar.

  • Stephen King Surveyor

    RICS Registered Valuer, Surveyor

    Stephen brings nearly two decades of experience as a Quantity Surveyor on major construction projects across London and the South East before moving into residential building surveying.

    As an AssocRICS member and RICS Registered Valuer, Stephen combines strong technical knowledge, commercial understanding, and practical project expertise to provide clear, reliable advice for clients. His work covers both residential surveys and formal valuations, helping homeowners and investors make confident, well-informed property decisions.

    Stephen is a keen amateur dog walker.

  • Jack Cottrell

    Jack Cottrell

    Trainee Surveyor

    Jack joined Navah Consulting during the summer of 2024 having previously worked at an independent estate agency.

    Furthering his passion for surveying, Jack is completing a Level 6, degree-equivalent, Diploma in Residential Surveying and Valuation with Sava. This course is overseen by the Awarding Body for the Built Environment (ABBE) which is part of Birmingham City University.

    Jack brings fresh perspectives and a passion for surveying, which aligns with our mission to deliver client-focused surveying services to our clients.

    Jack is also a very fast runner.
