Testimonials
We used Navah Consulting for our level 2 survey and could not be happier with the professionalism and service which Jon, Stephen and their team provided.
The survey was organised quickly and there was transparent communication between the team and us.
Once this was conducted Stephen was kind enough to explain the results in two separate calls to go over any issues identified.

All the staff were very friendly and easy to talk to. It was easy and very quick to book in a date.
The survey was very thorough and we felt we got very good value for money.
They left no stone unturned and we felt we were armed with all the information we needed to go forward with buying our property.
Thank you Navah. We would recommend your services to anyone.

Jon at Navah was fantastic - a really thorough survey with a follow-up call and willing to be contacted beyond the survey being sent. Highly recommend.

An RICS Home Survey Level 2 is typically suitable for houses, flats and bungalows of standard construction, properties built from conventional materials, homes in reasonable overall condition and modern properties that have not been significantly altered. If a property is older, extended, heavily altered or of non-standard construction, an RICS Home Survey Level 3 may be more appropriate.
-
An RICS Home Survey Level 2 includes a visual inspection of the property, assessment of structural elements and key building components, identification of defects and risks, advice on repairs and maintenance, a clear summary of urgent issues and a traffic light condition rating for each element. The report is clear, structured and easy to follow.
-
The on-site inspection for an RICS Home Survey Level 2 typically takes between 1–2 hours, depending on the size and complexity of the property. Reports are usually issued within a few working days following the inspection.
-
An RICS Home Survey Level 2 is generally not suitable for properties that are very old, listed, of non-standard construction or substantially altered. In these cases, an RICS Home Survey Level 3 is usually more appropriate as it provides a more detailed and technical assessment.
-
An RICS Home Survey Level 2 can include an independent RICS Valuation if requested. This provides a professional opinion of market value, prepared by an RICS Registered Valuer in accordance with RICS Valuation Standards (Red Book).
-
Yes. A mortgage valuation is carried out for the lender’s benefit and is not a detailed condition survey. An RICS Home Survey Level 2 is commissioned by you and focuses on identifying defects, risks and potential repair costs so that you can make an informed purchasing decision.
